Travel as a lens for understanding complexity

Having traveled to over 32 countries and lived in four, I’ve learned that immersing yourself in different cultures reveals perspectives that can’t be gained through any other means. This experience has shaped my approach to problem-solving and relationship-building in the venture ecosystem. Whether navigating unfamiliar environments abroad or engaging with diverse founders and stakeholders, I’ve found that adaptability and curiosity are essential. Travel has reinforced my belief that finding common ground—even across seemingly disparate contexts—is always possible when you’re willing to listen and engage authentically.

The power of dialogue in problem-solving

I believe that meaningful progress on complex challenges requires open and constructive dialogue. When stakeholders engage authentically and listen with genuine curiosity, common ground emerges and innovative solutions become possible. This conviction guides my approach to building relationships in the venture ecosystem—understanding different perspectives and finding alignment across diverse viewpoints is essential to driving impact in defense technology and national security.

I love going all out – always

I’ve never been drawn to minimalism. I believe complexity, texture, and detail are what make ideas, projects, and life itself interesting. Cookie cutter houses, fashion, and design have become the modern way of living but we should bring color back into life. More life!
